Get Expert Editorial Support Without the Wait or a Retainer
Premium Access is designed to remove friction. One setup now, then you can move fast for the next 12 months.
Some projects don’t follow predictable timelines. You might not have a draft yet, but you know editing support is coming ... and you want to be ready.
Premium Access gives you a head start. It sets up a trusted editorial relationship in advance, without requiring a retainer, so you're cleared and ready when the time comes.
One setup now. No re-intake for a full year. Onboarding is $500, split into two $250 payments.
What’s included:
One intake session (live or async) to understand your goals and workflow
Documentation of your editorial preferences, tone, and review expectations
We’ll also review the types of projects you’re likely to need and provide timelines and estimate ranges, so you know what to expect before your next job begins.
Context stored for future quoting so no need to re-explain your process
Master contract finalized now so future jobs don’t require legal back-and-forth
For each future job, you’ll receive a single packet with estimate, contract, and invoice — ready for immediate action.
Note: Editing projects are scoped and billed separately. This service prepares the relationship. It doesn’t include editing itself.
What happens after you complete the form:
I’ll send you a $250 invoice and onboarding contract
Once your first payment is received, onboarding begins
We’ll schedule your intake session (live or async)
I’ll document your scope, preferences, and delivery needs
When everything is finalized, the second $250 payment will complete your setup
From that point on, you’ll be cleared for fast, judgment-rich editing with no re-intake for 12 months
25+ years of editorial experience for authors, consultants, and government professionals. No retainer required. Onboarding is $500, split into two payments.
Why Get Premium Access?
Premium Access gives you:
Faster quoting when timelines matter
No re-onboarding needed because I already know your material
You’ll be ready to go when your project is
Step 1: Complete the onboarding form and submit your first payment.
Step 2: We schedule your onboarding session and set your editorial preferences.
Step 3: Your Premium Access year begins after onboarding.
Step 4: Request support whenever you need it, without repeating intake.
I take on a limited number of Premium Access clients.
This isn’t a scarcity tactic; it’s a quality tactic. I keep the number of active clients low so I can give each project the deep strategic attention it deserves. If you're considering applying, you don’t need to rush. But you may want to reach out before my next calendar window fills.

Work with an Editor Who’s Already Aligned When You Need Her
The hardest part of hiring an editor isn’t the editing. It’s the setup: figuring out scope, preparing files, getting contracts signed, and clarifying goals under pressure.
Premium Access clears the runway before your draft is even ready. We’ll handle intake, contract setup, and scope preferences in advance, so when it’s time to move, we’re ready. You’ll pay $250 to start and $250 once setup is complete. From then on, you’ll be fully aligned and cleared for editing, with no re-intake required for 12 months.
